Covid-19 update

It’s been a tough few days for all of us I’m sure.

We all face uncertainty.

I’ve been hitting the cancellation button constantly, which is a strange feeling as I only hit it for the first time in 10 years on Monday. I have enjoyed hosting families here in Caister for all that time and boosting local businesses by bringing quality tourism to the village. Thank you to my previous guests, most of you I really enjoyed chatting with 😂 So I hope to be here in future years to welcome returning and new guests but bills have to be paid somehow. When I figure it out I’ll let you all know how...

With the future being so hard to predict and in order to protect my local community I have decided to close the cottage until the 30th April. This date will be moved in line with government advice but I don’t want to be responsible for bringing covid-19 to my neighbours, friends and residents of our fine village.

Despite the financial issues this will create I have decided to refund all guests booked to 30th April in full and will continue to do so as needed. Although my terms clearly state there are no refunds we are all in trouble at this time and my overdraft should cover all outstanding bookings 🤨 It’s not our fault that we are in this situation and we need to look after each other.

Dog Friendly Cottages To Rent In Norfolk With All The Amenities You Could Need

Dog friendly cottages to rent in Norfolk are numerous, but being a dog owner myself of a Belgian Malinois, I like to take special care of our visiting pups. There’s great news too if you have a digger or one that likes to attempt to make a break for freedom at any given opportunity, as both gardens are fully enclosed with a six foot fence and full-height gate. The south-facing garden has a patio with table and chairs, wide cotton hammock and wild strawberries growing everywhere for visitors in May/June. Through the gate to a private parking area for two cars, and we’re located at the end of a no through road, which allows for a secluded and peaceful stay. On the other side of the cottage is a decked garden with wicker sofas and chairs and a gate onto Caister on Sea dog friendly beach. It’s so convenient.

Norfolk Holiday Cottages That Love Their Canine Guests As Much As You Do

When travelling with my dog, I occasionally worry about her damaging the holiday cottages I’m staying in, but at Caister Beach Cottages we have original Victorian natural pine floors on the ground floor and tiled areas next to the doors. That means a returning mess of a dog can still be dried and cleaned without ruining anything. Guaranteed, they will bring tons of sand in during a stay here as it’s unavoidable being this close to the beach! I think I have one of the most dog friendly cottages to rent in Norfolk from a large pool of Norfolk holiday cottages, which are run mainly by non-dog owners. Caister on Sea has a lot of dogs living here and there is even a regular Friday morning Dog Walking Club that meets at the lifeboat station, which is a social event enjoyed by many here in the village. There will be details in my Welcome Pack on arrival. Beachfront dog-friendly rental cottages in Norfolk are quite numerous, but there are very few that are literally right on the beach, with even fewer that have superfast Wi-Fi broadband; and fewer still with parking too! Add to that our 100% green energy pledge and our commitment to that in providing a holiday cottage that offers electric vehicle charging, and you’ll see we are quite unique.

Norfolk Cottages To Rent Dog Friendly All Year Round From Caister Beach Cottages

While many operators claim to have dog friendly cottages to rent in Norfolk, Caister Beach Cottages is truly only steps away from a fantastic wide and open sandy beach. There are no restrictions on where you can take your pet all year round. Surprisingly quiet in the summer and virtually deserted the rest of the year, the beach is a great spot for owners of nervous or social animals, and I genuinely believe ours are some of the most comfortable cottages to rent in Norfolk. It’s important to me that everyone staying here has a good time and maybe even becomes another regular visitor, returning over the years when a break from life in general is needed. Book direct on our online form at https://www.caisterbeach.co.uk to avoid excessive booking fees charged by other sites and deal directly with the owner, or give me a call on 07841 713903 or email james@caisterbeach.co.uk with any questions.
